Mr Akihiro Oda
ODA Akihiro is the Director of Customs Clearance Division, Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance. As Director of Customs Clearance Division, he is heading and managing Customs clearance related issues of Japan Customs which include HS, IPR, AEO program, Country of Origin and international postal item clearance.

He has 25 years of career in the government and had engaged in policy development, research, and projects in financial and legal matters. In addition to his career in Japanese government, he worked at Inter-American Development Bank as Senior Counselor. Most recently, he served as a Legal Counselor of the Cabinet Legislation Office of Japan from June 2016, and was appointed to his current position in July 2021.
